I LOVE THIS SMELL SO MUCH! I have it as a tart and I had it as a candle last year and loved it so much and the tarts last SO much longer! It's not a particularly Christmassy smell but it smells so sweet and sugary like icing really - I love it! I also love it in the form of a tart because it literally lasts for hours on end I'd say about a month if you had it on everyday - I've never finished one because they last so long and I've wanted to change the smell!
Hope you liked this short post, what are your favourite Christmas scents?
As a few of you may know I am a writer, not just in the sense of blogging but I write articles for my local newspaper (and online) as well as entering poetry competitions. One of the bad things about loving writing this much is that things like reading kind of fall off the bandwagon! Gone Girl is the first book in about 3 years I've read! I know, that's so bad, I'm actually embarrassed writing it! Here's a small summary of the book: Nick's wife, Amy, goes missing on their 5 year anniversary. The crime scene, a diary and internet history all lead to the police and public believing that Nick is responsible, but as the story unfolds and other characters are revealed is he still the one to blame? ANYWAY...This book is AMAZING! You think you know where it's going then BAM! Plot twist...It's so gripping and I love the amount of detail you find out about each character. I kind of like how it jumps around a character's timeline - it's not confusing as it's quite structured but it makes you feel like you really KNOW the character and what they're like rather than other books where the whole story is set in the present. I think all the characters in the book are relevant and have an involvement in some way or another in the storyline which I like because I don't like reading about characters in books which don't seem to have an relevance to the actual story! As a non book reader of about 3 years I REALLY recommend reading this! Next stop for me will be watching the film - woo! Abi :)
I love checks! I
really love this print, I don’t know why or how it came about but for the past
2 years or so I’ve loved flannel shirts, you can wear them so many different
ways and I just think they’re a really nice staple to have for both Summer and
Winter! In these photos I have four check shirts (the two blues, red and green), one scarf (the white and purple/pink) and two pairs of leggings (both black and white) just as a heads up haha.
I was nominated by the wonderful Lauren from misslaurenmorgan to do this TAG which I'd never heard of before but it sounds right up my street so thankyou!! 1. What time of year would you go and how long? Definitely Winter, maybe November/December time so I could see all the Christmassy things and it would all be really magical! 2. Who would you go with and why? Maybe my friends and I'd see if I could drag my boyfriend along too haha! 3. Where would you stay and why? The Yacht Club Resort sounds exciting so there I think!! 4. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom Or Hollywood Studios? Either Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom as I love animals haha! 5. Fast rides or gentle rides? ALL THE RIDES!!! Probably the fast ones I'd prefer but I'd want to go on them all haha! 6. One attraction that you HAVE to go on? Shark Reef sounds exciting, I love water things but I'd honestly try to go and do as many things as I could if I went!
7. Five things that you would like to purchase whilst you're out there? I think maybe some artwork maybe of Mickey or something.Build a Dino sounds cool so I think I'd like to build my own one of those!A nice T shirt with something VERY Disney on it. Maybe a mug as I love mugs for hot chocolate with something sweet on it. Andddd..some nice sweets or chocolate I reckon! 8. Three Disney characters you'd like to meet? Mickey, Elsa and...Piglet! 9. Would you vlog, take photos of your trip or both? I'd take photos I think, I like to have something I can hold and put up and show people 10. One place you would like to visit whilst in Orlando apart from Disney World? I'd love to go to a spa there! Hope you enjoyed this chums, I nominate anyone who would like to do it! Abi :)
