REVIEW: Lush Space Girl Bath Bomb

I can't believe this bath bomb is/has ended it's time at Lush. I've been in a lot of stores and every time I've overlooked this bath bomb, until the other week when I finally decided to buy it in the Exeter store and that was when I was told it was going to be discontinued!
This is one of the more interestingly shaped bath bombs Lush do - a space ship shaped bath bomb is very cool! I really liked the red dusting on top as it was a really nice touch!

I liked this bath bomb but it didn't fizz as much as I thought it might - perhaps it's one of the more plainer and simpler ones they do?
As usual though the 'Lush' feeling on my skin was present again!

Have you tried this?

REVIEW: Lush Rose Queen Bath Bomb

I'm back with another Lush review for you all chums!
rose queen lush bath bomb
I've been having quite a lot of 'lush' baths recently as my lovely Mum has bought me a fair few - they make such perfect presents!

This one is one I've never tried before, it's a lovely deep pink colour and had a little leaf/twig coming out of the top - I really liked this as it looked more natural and authentic - a theme all lush products have!

I loved the surprise bits of flowers that was inside of this bath bomb, as soon as I put the bath bomb into the water not only was there a flush of pink in my bath but also lovely bits (including apple blossom and honeysuckle) floating around too - a more subtle way of having a rose petal bath!

I quite liked the smell of this bath bomb but it wasn't my favourite as I do like sweet-smelling ones! And, as all lush products have, the 'lush' feeling on my skin after my bath was very much existent!

Overall I really liked this bath bomb especially all the natural plants bits floating in my bath!

REVIEW: Lush Think Pink Bathbomb

Another one of my many Lush reviews for you chums!
This is one of the smaller Lush bath bombs I've tried and I loved it! As soon as I put it in the bath it was literally like an explosion, I think it's the most excited bath bomb I've ever had it coloured the water straight away!
It's definitely one of Lush's more vibrant bath bombs too and the bath water stayed a beautiful hot pink throughout my bath!

I also love the beautiful flower decorations on the bath bomb, it's such a pretty bath bomb and the colour is so stunning!
The only thing I'd say about this is the unexpected confetti typed things which came out of it - I'm not a fan of paper in water so personally this was a negative (but the only negative!) for me.
Have you tried this?

REVIEW: Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb

The other day I was feeling pretty down - we all have those days! And my Mum gave me this bath bomb to try and cheer me up and make me more relaxed, I'm pleased to say it worked!
This isn't a bath bomb I would usually go for, I'm not really a 'yellow' person (I know, not getting a bath bomb based on colour is silly) but I ADORED the smell of this one! It was almost like a sweet-citrus smell probably due to the orange and honey in it which is an unusual but gorgeous combination.
Once plonked in the bath (I'm not an elegant female, I may as well make that clear) it fizzed very quickly and didn't last that long which made me a bit sad as it's so fun to watch something fizzing around in your bath!
The bath turned quite a nice shade of yellow which was a new thing for me, and as usual the Lush effect (where your skin feels silky soft after using a Lush product) was present again!
I think I will buy this the next time I get some Lush products as I loved the smell SO much and who wouldn't love a yellow bath?!

REVIEW: Lush Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt

This was one of the Lush products my beautiful boyfriend got me for my birthday, I was very excited to try it as it was one of those products I'd seen in the shops and online but had never actually got round to buying it!
Firstly, I love the colour - it's a very vibrant pink and it works well with the sweet smell (which comes from the Cocoa Butter).
This lasted a long time before it completely 'melted' in my bath which I liked, as although I love their bath bombs they're quite literally a one hit wonder! Having said that, the bath bombs are a little more exciting than something which lazily rolls around spreading pink in your bath like this product!
Like all Lush products, it left my skin feeling super soft and smelling gorgeous. I think I will try more of their bath melts in the future as they do help to relax the body and who doesn't want a baby pink bath which smells so sweet?

REVIEW: Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt

As you may have seen I was lucky enough to get quite a few Lush products for my birthday and had the difficult decision of deciding which to use first!
I chose Golden Egg (partly so I could get the glitter out of my house as it has a tendency to get everywhere) but also because out of the products I got it was my favourite one scent wise (if that's a phrase). The first thing that strikes me about this is the colour, it literally is gold and I love that it's such a strange colour to have for a bath product which makes this even more unique!
The smell too is gorgeous, it is quite sweet (which I love) and is most likely due to the cocoa butter and orange oil the egg contains.
In the bath it fizzes quite slowly which I wasn't expecting (but then I didn't really know what to expect as this is my first ever bath melt I have tried from Lush), but I liked that it fizzed slowly as it meant that it would last longer so I could enjoy it more. It makes the bath quite an orange-y colour and again when you get out of the bath your skin feels so smooth and supple (I find this with all Lush products which is why I love them so much!)
Overall, I really liked this and will most probably use it again sometime soon!

Have you got any of their Easter collection?

What I Got For My Birthday

I was absolutely spoilt on my birthday and I feel so lucky to have so many lovely people who care about me and who bought me such amazing presents! I am in no way boasting or bragging about what I got, I honestly appreciate every one of them, but I thought it would be nice to do a post on what I got seeing as I barely posted last week - shameful I know!

Abi :)

p.s. a lot of family members helped pay for my car (my first eek!) it isn't something I get every birthday!

Birthday Wishlist

I have been doing a wishlist series for several weeks now and as it is my birthday very soon I thought I'd do one for my birthday! I hope you like it!

Lush products (Twilight, The Comforter and Somewhere Over The Rainbow) - I have loved Lush for ages and am yet to try these products I'd really love to try The Comforter especially as it smells so damn good! Buy them HERE

Planetarium projector - I have a MASSIVE thing about all things stars and space and planets at the moment I don't know why or where it came from, but I'd love to have one of these lights in my room, it would look incredible at night! Buy it HERE

Denim jacket - As you may know from a few posts back I recently bought a leather jacket which I love, but as the weather is getting ever so slightly warmer I'd love a lined denim jacket to wear instead for the warmer months, I love this one! Buy it HERE

101 Budget Dishes - I really want to start cooking more for myself and I'd love this book especially as it's meals on a budget! Buy it HERE

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - I really want to try this foundation out as I've heard lots of good reviews about it and need another one! Buy it HERE

Real Techniques brushes - At the moment I use Sleek's brush set which is good as a starter pack but I'd love now to have better brushes especially for my foundation! Buy them HERE

Galaxy bed spread - As I've said I have a THING about all things galaxy and really love the colours used in this one! Buy it HERE

Hope you liked this!

REVIEW: Lush Candy Mountain

Another item from my Christmas stash! I had been looking forward to using this as it smells SO GOOD. I love sweet smelling things and apparently (although I'm yet to try it out) it smells very similar to Lush's Snow Fairy!
(I used it with Dashing Santa, hence the orange!)

I love their bubble bars, I think the bubbles last a lot longer compared to shop bought bubble baths/shower gel used as bubble baths!

I was really impressed with the amount of bubbles it created, I only use about half of the bar here and it was more than enough I'd say!
Will most likely be buying this one again!

REVIEW: Lush Dashing Santa

Yes. I know it's February, but I don't like using all my bath products all in one go! I much prefer to save them!

I had read several good reviews about this product so was excited to try it out the other night, but the first think I noticed was that my Dashing Santa DIDN'T DASH!! It just sank and fizzed, so that was a bit disappointing.
However, I LOVED the colour that seeped from it, it was like a neon orange - so vibrant! And I forgot how soft Lush products made my skin feel and this product especially made my skin feel supers soft!
If I'm honest, I'm not sure I will buy it this Christmas but I'm happy I tried it out!

REVIEW: Luxury Lush Pud

Back with my lush bath bombs and my first one I used this year was the Luxury Lush Pud, I got a lot of Lush products for Christmas as you may have seen in my 'What I Got For Christmas' post, and wanted to use the most 'festive' ones first...I'm really not going to want to be using 'Dashing Santa' in April!

I really liked this bath bomb it was so colourful and turned the bath a lovely red/pink colour, it also smelled of Christmas but not overly in your face! What I love about Lush bath bombs is that they're so big, and this was probably one of the biggest ones I've used. It also formed lots of bubbles which lasted a long time especially if you put some bubble bath or shower gel in there too! I noticed some glitter on my body halfway through my bath and (unfortunately I wasn't turning into a fairy) it turns out there's some fine glitter in there too, don't worry it is very subtle I hardly noticed it at all!

Overall, this is a very festive and colourful bath bomb and will most probably be buying it again!
