REVIEW: Strawberry Buttercream Yankee Candle

Not sure I've ever done a candle review before so bare with!
I got this as a birthday present and it just so happened to be my first Yankee Candle in a jar that I've ever had!

At first I was a bit unsure about the smell, it's very sweet (although, I do usually like sweet) but sickly sweet so I wasn't too fond of it.

However, the other evening I thought I'd light it and I love it! When burning, the candle scent is actually quite subtle, it's a more pleasant sweet smell - a bearable one! It does smell of Strawberry Buttercream too, this is something I always admire: that Yankee Candle are always able to replicate the real and not artificial smell of something.

Have you tried any Yankee Candles?

What I Got For My Birthday

I was absolutely spoilt on my birthday and I feel so lucky to have so many lovely people who care about me and who bought me such amazing presents! I am in no way boasting or bragging about what I got, I honestly appreciate every one of them, but I thought it would be nice to do a post on what I got seeing as I barely posted last week - shameful I know!

p.s. a lot of family members helped pay for my car (my first eek!) it isn't something I get every birthday!

REVIEW: Yankee Candle Fireside Treats

When I first smelt this I really didn't like it if I'm honest, it was quite an odd smell. As 'fireside treats' isn't an actual 'thing' like vanilla or cranberries or something, I wasn't too sure what to expect but it wasn't as sweet as I expected.

But after having it burning in my room for several minutes I actually really liked it! It has quite a subtle smell, not too sweet but it's not an 'IN YOUR FACE' scent either like some of the other candles.

What are your favourite Yankee scents?

REVIEW: Yankee Candle Cranberry Ice

I got many candles for Christmas and this is the first one I used, it was my favourite one out of all the ones I got as I love the gorgeous red/pink colour and it smells so sweet and fruity!

I love Yankee Candles as they don't need to be lit for long for the whole room to fill with whatever aroma you have chosen!
Overall, I really really love this candle and I love the fact it's so small and cute compared to the big jars!

Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie

Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie
I LOVE THIS SMELL SO MUCH! I have it as a tart and I had it as a candle last year and loved it so much and the tarts last SO much longer! It's not a particularly Christmassy smell but it smells so sweet and sugary like icing really - I love it! I also love it in the form of a tart because it literally lasts for hours on end I'd say about a month if you had it on everyday - I've never finished one because they last so long and I've wanted to change the smell!

Hope you liked this short post, what are your favourite Christmas scents?

Mini Yankee Candle Haul

yankee candle oils
I love these so much! They last for ages and smell soo good! I'd say they smell stronger than the candles which I love, at the moment I'm using a Dragonfruit one (hence the reason it isn't in the picture) it smells really nice and fruity and quite sweet too! Red Velvet is also a beautiful sweet smell, the Lavender obviously smells as you'd expect it to - Lavendary! And the Fruit Fusion one smells very citrusy and fruity, the Kitchen Spice one smells just like Christmas and I can't wait to use it as we get nearer to December!
