An Autumn Carnival

With Autumn and the chill that comes with it, also comes the promise of carnivals and candyfloss! On Saturday evening I went to a carnival quite local to me and really enjoyed it! I loved the pirate float best the music was really good - I think it was from Pirates of the Caribbean!

We also saw the Potato Heads which were pretty sweet too!

 I managed to eat the usual carnival food consisting of a burnt hot dog and some candyfloss!

    This looks like fun!! Love the fact it's all lit up, i haven't been to a carnival for ages but we have our bonfire night this weekend coming and I can't wait!

    Ahh you must live somewhere in South Somerset then! I love Carnival season but then again, I'm kind of biased as I've been a member of a Carnival club for 10 years :-) We only take part in the Bridgwater circuit though but I do always go and watch several of the other ones - we're off to Taunton this weekend. I've been trying to educate people about Carnival over on my blog and I even wrote all about it last year (http://duck-in-a-dress.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/why-i-love-autumn.html) - I've love for more people to discover how fab they are! :-) xx (ooh and the music from the pirate floats is 'Shiver My Timbers' from the Muppet Treasure Island film) :-)
