The Best Pancakes & Sauce!

Unfortunately (or not so unfortunately as it turns out) I was in Venice, Italy on holiday when it was Pancake Day here in the UK so I missed out on my pancakes, but instead enjoyed the views and weather of beautiful Italy!
When I got home however, Mum had kindly bought me some Marks & Spencer's pancakes with butterscotch sauce and OH MY WORD they're the nicest things!
If you like all things sweet - like me - you'll love these! There's plenty of sauce for the pancakes which is good as usually I'm rationing sauce for each pancake as some never seem to come with enough! The pancakes are really nice and fluffy like the American ones everyone always raves about!

Do you like pancakes? What is your favourite topping?

Presents From America!

Last week my boyfriend FINALLY arrived back from travelling around America and gave me a nice bundle of presents which I thought I'd share with you!
I was lucky to get lots of 'American' treats such as Reese's, Twizzlers, Hershey's and an I <3 NY t-shirt so I was happy about that as (obviously) we don't really have them in the UK and what we do have are a lot more expensive here than over there!

What are your favourite American things?

Spontaneous Sweet Treat

'Sweet treat' is becoming a popular phrase of mine, basically I have a HUGE sweet tooth and eat a lot of sweet things BUT I also do eat a lot of fruit so I feel like it balances it out a bit! Anyway, the other day I was in town with my friend and went to Topshop...to buy sweets - yup! Watermelon flavour!!
And...that's it haha, just another random post from yours truly!

Sweet Treats From An Autumn Fair!

Just a photo post really chums, I went to a fair last Monday with lots of stalls and markets and picked up a rather substantive amount of food..eek!
Pack Monday Fair Sherborne 2014 candyfloss
Pack Monday Fair Sherborne 2014 fudge
Pack Monday Fair Sherborne 2014 bon bons and rhubarb and custards
Pack Monday Fair Sherborne 2014 bon bons
Pack Monday Fair Sherborne 2014 rhubarb and custards
It was ALL very tasty and the fudge was so nice as it was homemade, also all the different colours of candyfloss were different flavours so that was exciting!

Sweet Surprises

The other day my parents went to Bath without me (as I was working) and after a long day at work I came back to find that they had bought me a nice jar of Rhubarb and Custards and some chocolate Fish and Chips! They are mostly all gone now but I thought I’d do a short post on them anyway! I love rhubarb and custards, they’re colourful and small and just really nice and my favourite side is the yellow custard bit haha!

How To: Have a Lazy Day

My life can sometimes be pretty hectic and busy - not to mention stressful - so occasionally I'll have days where I pretty much do nothing but lay in bed all day on my laptop. I thought I'd share with you how my lazy days pan out!

Firstly, I love my teddies! I don't care that I'm WAY past the age of having them, they're soft and comfy and have been with me since I was very young so I love being in bed with them haha!
Another thing I love is my dressing gown, I bought it from Marks & Spencer and it's really big and nice and fluffy, I look so frumpy in it but I'm too comfy in it to care! Also cosy socks are a must!
I usually watch TV catch up, YouTube or films on my laptop in bed or sometimes I look through old photos of past holidays etc.
Sometimes I'll have some treats with me too and if I'm feeling really lazy and in need of some real comfort I'll order a pizza! A hot chocolate is a must have for me on a lazy day too.

Hope you liked this post and it gave you more of an insight into what I get up to on my down days!

A Craving for Candy King...

During Lent (yes I know it was yonks ago) I decided to give up sweets and chocolate which, for me was NOT an easy thing to do. People tend to use the term 'sweet tooth' with me it's more of a case of having 'sweet TEETH.'

I managed to do it though - it was actually easier than I thought even with my birthday smack bang in the middle of it! I found that writing a list of stuff I reallyyy fancied helped because then I could go and fix my craving when Lent was over! On my embarrassingly long list of chocolate and sweets was 'pic n mix' and today I decided to (finally) buy one!

Yummy yummy yummyy from trusty Wilkinson's!

A cup full of goodies!
Probably also full of calories but I don't often have a pic n mix - like I say not since before lent! My favourite sweets are the bubblegum bon bons (I loveee how blue they are) and the vanilla and chocolate half and half fudge is also very tasty!

A chocolate mouse is a must for a pic n mix!

I adore these bubblegum fizzy sweets! Although these ones were quite sour!

Hope you didn't feel too hungry reading this!
